What Support Helps Us Do

Help keep Walterboro Shines useful, independent and growing.

The goal is not simply to keep a website online. Support helps us continue building a dependable local resource, spotlighting people and organizations doing good work, sharing useful information, maintaining community guides and developing new ideas that can benefit the area.

Keep the website runningHosting, domain costs, maintenance and the tools needed to keep community information available.

Community informationCalendar updates, local resources, Local Pride, jobs, family information and practical guides.

Local stories & spotlightsHelping community groups, events, businesses, community contributors and neighbors get seen.

Future initiativesTesting community ideas such as Unlock 95 and other projects designed to create local benefit.

Walterboro Shines should always be useful first. Community support helps us spend more time doing the work instead of putting everything behind a paywall.

Important: Walterboro Shines does not currently represent contributions as tax-deductible charitable donations. This page will clearly distinguish community support from tax-deductible giving unless that status changes in the future. Read Funding & Transparency →
