These terms explain the rules for using Walterboro Shines and purchasing paid advertising or sponsorship.
Walterboro Shines provides community information, directories, event information, stories, resources and paid promotional opportunities. Information is provided for general community use and may change. Visitors should verify time-sensitive details with the responsible business, organizer or official source.
Paying Walterboro Shines buys only the advertising or promotional deliverables described at checkout. Payment does not buy favorable editorial coverage, a recommendation, a rating, removal of criticism, or influence over independent community reporting. Paid material will be labeled when appropriate.
All advertising is subject to review for fit, accuracy, legality, safety and community standards. Walterboro Shines may request supporting information, corrections or different creative. We may decline advertising that is deceptive, unlawful, discriminatory, unsafe, sexually explicit, hateful, violent, fraudulent, or otherwise unsuitable for the site or community audience.
The checkout page controls the purchased product, price and basic deliverable. Products described as monthly purchase one 30-day placement and do not automatically renew in this V39 launch unless the checkout page explicitly says otherwise. Products listed as “starting at” require a quote and are not purchased through fixed-price checkout.
The advertiser is responsible for supplying accurate business names, contact information, logos, photographs, links, claims and other requested material. A placement period starts when the advertising is approved and published, not simply when payment is submitted, unless the parties agree otherwise. Delays caused by missing or unusable advertiser materials may delay the start date.
Walterboro Shines does not guarantee a particular number of impressions, clicks, calls, leads, customers, sales, search rankings or revenue. Advertising is a visibility service, and results vary.
By supplying material, the advertiser confirms it has the right to use and authorize Walterboro Shines to display that material for the purchased promotion. The advertiser remains responsible for the truthfulness and legality of its claims, offers, pricing and required disclosures.
Fixed-price advertising is paid through PayPal. Walterboro Shines uses the server-side price assigned to the selected advertising product; changing a displayed price in a browser does not change the amount authorized by the server. A purchase is not complete until PayPal reports a successful capture.
Refunds and cancellations are governed by the separate Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.
Walterboro Shines may update these terms as services evolve. The version shown at checkout applies to that purchase. Questions may be sent to walterboroshines@icloud.com.
